CONTRACT MANAGER / SENIOR CONTRACT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies and monitor project budgets, reports, and tenders.
• Coordinate with the project team on contractual matters, including variation orders, extensions of time, loss and expenses, and project cost control.
• Oversee tender costing, documentation, and site measurement.
• Manage negotiations and handle pre- and post-contract administration.
• Identify and highlight potential risks and implications related to contractual issues.
• Possess strong knowledge of contract administration, cost estimation, and pricing.
• Ensure timely preparation of overall project budgets and control construction costs and variation orders within the allocated budget.
• Review and verify progress claims & Bill of Quantity (BQ).
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, self-motivation, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in property development.
• Proactive with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational and planning skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Proficiency in planning software such as Microsoft Project or AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Must have own transportation and be willing to travel for outstation projects (if any).
• Excellent command of English, Malay, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
