CONTRACT MANAGER

About the role

As a Contract Manager at PEMBINAAN TEGUH MAJU SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the contractual agreements and legal obligations for the construction projects undertaken by the company. Based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, this full-time position is responsible for ensuring the successful execution and delivery of construction contracts.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing pre-contract projects for high-rise buildings.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
• Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Identifying and mitigating potential contractual risks, and developing strategies to address them.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as project managers and legal counsel, to ensure the seamless execution of contracts.
• Maintaining accurate records of all contractual documents and communicating with stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, legal requirements, and best practices in contract management.
• Providing guidance and support to project teams on contractual issues and dispute resolution.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contract law, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and amendments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
• Familiarity with project management principles and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
