Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), sales agreements, licensing contracts, and vendor agreements.
  2. Ensure contracts are legally sound and align with company policy, business goals, and industry regulations.
  3. Identify potential risks in contractual terms and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.

Contract Lifecycle Management:

  1. Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, ensuring timely and efficient processing of contracts.
  2. Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and related documents in the contract management system.
  3. Ensure that all contracts are stored, tracked, and monitored for compliance with deadlines, renewal dates, and obligations.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  1. Monitor and advise on regulatory requirements and legal implications affecting contracts.
  2. Ensure that contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  3. Identify and address risks arising from contractual terms and conditions, proposing risk mitigation measures to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, finance, and operations, to understand business needs and requirements.
  2. Act as a point of contact for legal queries related to contracts and provide advice on best practices and legal obligations.
  3. Negotiate contract terms with external parties, ensuring that terms are favorable to the company and comply with legal standards.
