SCOPE OF SERVICES:
- Monitoring the project progress and ensure that the work executed are within the cost, time and quality.
- Reviewing documents/design drawings/calculation submitted by the Contractors mainly for the mechanical related design.
- Reviewing, follow-up and draft respond for documents/correspondence submitted by the Contractors on project administrative issues.
- Coordinate and arrange the project related monthly meetings, prepare the minutes and ensure all the stakeholders working on the action log to closure.
- Witnessing testing and commissioning of various mechanical equipment at site after installation.
- Verifying that the test results is compliance with the contract requirements.
- Assisting in coordinating with internal stakeholder on the design drawing/documents/Calculation submission as well as arranging design coordination meeting whenever necessary.
- Liaising with relevant internal/external stakeholder whenever necessary pertaining the installation, commissioning and testing.
- Monitoring the design change, calculation and drawing submission.
- Developing template and maintain records for design according to unsolved issue in the mechanical basic design.
- Updating project engineering lesson learnt registered for continuous improvement in future hydro project references.
THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):
- Managing internal and external stakeholder i.e. Asset Owners, Authority bodies, Consultants and Contractors.
- Meeting project original timeline when there is scope creep to the project work scope.
- Working in a project team matrix environment.
- Dealing with multi-national companies on project quality activities.
QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW):
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
