Project Focus:
Notice and takedown is a process operated by online hosts in response to court orders or allegations that content is illegal. It is widely operated in relation to copyright infringement, as well as for libel and other illegal content online. This project supports removal of content on Clients portal that may violate the online law governed by DMCA.

Key Responsibilities for the Role:

• Work on various queues and complete the assigned tickets on a daily basis within the TAT.
• Understand Client's Internal Copyright Policies and Process.
• Raise bugs as applicable through the ticket life cycle.
• Carefully assess, review, and evaluate the legal complaints to determine whether the allegedly violating copyright content must be blocked, removed, or restricted.
• Ascertain proper due diligence and compliance adherence for the copyright takedown, legal and non-legal counter-notices, and circumvention processes.
• Investigate and examine copyright removal requests submitted by copyright owners and reporting organizations for the appropriate client products to determine applicability of DMCA.
• Distinguish and process legal and non-legal counter-notices, following detailed validation to identify the copyrighted work for content restoration.
• Share and exchange information with copyright owners, reporting organizations, business partners, legal professionals, and government officials regarding legal and compliance procedures.
• Work on tools and present innovative ideas.
• Be flexible to adjust timing according to client needs.
• Review sensitive content, including graphic or disturbing text/videos/images.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while meeting strict deadlines.

Competency Required:

• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin & English.
• Able to read and write in Traditional Chinese characters.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize, or solve both complex and uncomplicated problems.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results while paying strict attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume and complex demands.
• Strong desire to learn continually as the work is dynamic and changing.
• Comfortable reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate or contain explicit material.
• Work on relevant bugs as applicable and coordinate with clients to close on TAT.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 environment.
• Comfortable working with explicit and sensitive content.
