Content Legal Removal - Korean Speaking

Project Focus:
Notice and takedown is a process operated by online hosts in response to court orders or allegations that content is illegal. It is widely operated in relation to copyright infringement, as well as for libel and other illegal content online. This project supports removal of content on the client's portal that may violate the online law governed by DMCA.

Key Responsibilities for the Role:

1. Work on various queues and complete the assigned tickets on a daily basis within the TAT.
2. Understand Client’s Internal Copyright Policies and Process.
3. Raise bugs as applicable through the ticket life cycle.
4. Carefully assess, review, and evaluate the legal complaints to determine whether the allegedly violating copyright content must be blocked, removed, or have access restricted as a legal approach to act in accordance with notices of copyright breach.
5. Ascertain proper due-diligence and compliance adherence of the legal complaints received for the copyright takedown, legal and non-legal counter-notices, and circumvention processes.
6. Investigate and examine the copyright removal requests submitted by copyright owners and reporting organizations for the appropriate client products to determine the applicability of DMCA.
7. Distinguish and process legal and non-legal counter notices as a counter-process to copyright takedown notices, following a detailed validation and examination to identify the copyrighted work and decide on the restoration of the reported content.
8. Share and exchange information with copyright owners, reporting organizations, business partners, legal professionals, and government officials, updating and following up on legal and compliance procedures.
9. Work on the tool and come up with innovative ideas.
10. Be flexible to adjust timing according to the needs of the client.
11. Review sensitive content, sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing text/videos/images.
12. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while meeting strict deadlines.

6. Strong desire to learn continually as the work is dynamic and keeps changing from time to time.
7. Comfortable and understanding that this work will involve the review of internet content that may be deemed inappropriate and/or contain explicit material.
8. Work on relevant bugs as applicable & coordinate with the client to close on TAT.
9. Willing to work in a 24x7 environment.
10. Comfortable working with explicit & sensitive content.
