Job DescriptionThe Role
Join SEEK as an L&D Consultant in a dynamic, encouraging atmosphere. Craft innovative programs for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion SEEK’s learning culture, strategy, framework, and roadmap to address current and future workforce skill requirements.
- Work closely with collaborators, customers, and team members to grasp current and future learning needs that will contribute to the business reaching its strategic goals.
- Apply instructional design techniques to build modern programs for diverse learners, emphasizing cultural differences.
- Craft and deliver scalable, immersive, and multi-faceted learning solutions that consider the full learner experience and journey.
- Support and guide SEEK leaders looking to introduce learning solutions within their specific functional areas.
- Keep up a facilitation approach at SEEK, consistently enhancing the toolsets, skills, and mentalities of SEEK’s facilitator bench.
- Guide and partner with L&D Coordinators to continually refresh and upkeep the L&D team’s knowledge resources.
- Partner with the Talent & Leadership team to co-design and co-deliver learning modules for the leader population – providing advice on content structure, format, delivery methods, etc. Facilitate leadership programs as necessary.
- Work with the team’s data analyst to identify, measure, and track key learning metrics and benefits realisation.
- Support other members of the broader Talent & Capability team, contributing to and/or co-delivering on other initiatives where required.
The Team
- The Talent and Capability function is responsible for Talent, Leadership Development, Learning, and Employee Insights and Initiatives.
- The L&D team works in APAC with 2 Senior Consultants, 2 Consultants, and 2 Coordinators reporting to the Head in Melbourne.
- This role will deliver outcomes primarily for the L&D team, as well as collaborate on joint deliverables across the broader Talent & Capability function.
QualificationsQualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (in a relevant subject such as Psychology, Business etc.) is required.
- 5-8 years in Talent, Learning, or Capability teams, designing immersive programs to improve employee experience.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design strategies and techniques.
- Extensive facilitation experience in various delivery environments (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) and across all levels of an organisation.
- Certification and/or experience with Gallup CliftonStrengths and mentoring preferred, but not essential.
- A customer- and business-focused attitude, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures to address diverse needs in APAC.
- Effective communication skills to influence collaborators.
- Must be proficient in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.
- Ability to consider the bigger picture and apply that to the L&D context.
- Ability to interpret data to form insights that influence decision-making and measure success.
