About the role

As a Construction Site Supervisor at Leading Global Engineering Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and efficient completion of construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams, including labourers, tradesmen, and subcontractors
• Monitoring and managing the progress of construction activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to protect the wellbeing of all personnel on-site
• Identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during the construction process
• Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the construction project
• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment on the construction site

What we're looking for

• Significant experience (5+ years) as a Construction Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant building codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects and leading teams to achieve project goals
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on-site
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
