We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Cheng Feng Construction Sdn Bhd. As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
2. Monitoring site safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
3. Developing and implementing construction schedules, and adjusting plans as needed to address any challenges or changes
4. Liaising with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the project
5. Identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that arise on the construction site
6. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the construction crew
7. Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the construction project

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
6. Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on the construction site
7. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
