Construction Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for day safety activities in construction site by working closely with the contractor team and ensuring that they fully comply with our safety policy and standards.
2. Conduct safety inductions for contractor employees.
3. Manage daily safety payroll with contractor or project team.
4. Perform work permit checks with proper risk assessments.
5. Supervise and monitor the site labor force and take safety actions on construction sites.
6. Inspect equipment and hand tools.
7. Prepare Safety & Health reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
8. Conduct preliminary accident investigations and provide information to all concerned parties.
9. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior or company.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of related working experience.
2. Yellow book by DOSH and CIDB Green Card are mandatory for all candidates.
3. Competency in Scaffolding Level 1 is an added advantage.
4. Excellent command of both oral and written Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
5. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Must be independent and dynamic.
