We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager on a contract basis to oversee a heritage site redevelopment project. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong expertise in building construction, infrastructure, and M&E replacement. The ideal candidate will have experience managing brownfield sites, redevelopments, and structural works such as roads, retaining walls, and bridges.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the on-site construction activities for a very fast-tracked heritage redevelopment project.
Work closely and report to the Project Manager.
Oversee building, roadworks, landscape, retaining walls, and full M&E replacement.
Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with consultants, IOW’s, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Monitor progress, quality, and site safety to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide technical guidance in M&E, civil & structural (C&S), and infrastructure works.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements
8 years of experience in construction management as a minimum.
Strong background in M&E and C&S works, particularly in roads, retaining walls, and bridges.
Proven track record in brownfield site projects, building redevelopments, and infrastructure.
Experience in heritage projects and bridge construction is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
