CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

X-Job Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Bandar Baru Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, this critical role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets
• Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and other construction personnel
• Monitor construction progress and address any issues or challenges that arise
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve any design or technical problems
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients
• Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and other resources required for construction
• Foster a positive and productive work environment on-site

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
• Familiar with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a diverse group of construction personnel
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
