Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
Support users in diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
Assist in setting up and maintaining email configurations, VPN access, and remote desktop solutions.
Ensure timely logging and tracking of IT support tickets and resolutions.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software upgrades.
Provide guidance and training to employees on IT best practices.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Assist in IT-related projects and system upgrades as required.
Document necessary process and procedures as required.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, antivirus software, and enterprise applications.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are an added advantage.
