Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Support users in diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining email configurations, VPN access, and remote desktop solutions.
  • Ensure timely logging and tracking of IT support tickets and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software upgrades.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on IT best practices.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Assist in IT-related projects and system upgrades as required.
  • Document necessary process and procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, antivirus software, and enterprise applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are an added advantage.
