Compounding Pharmacist

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Compounding Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical compounding, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Malaysia
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical compounding is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in compounding practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines for compounding pharmacies.
• Proficient in compounding techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical calculations and measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A Bachelor in Pharmacy from Australia would be an added value.

Responsibilities:

• Receive medication orders, prepare and compound medications according to physician prescriptions and established compounding protocols and SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in measuring, mixing, and packaging compounded medications.
• Conduct quality control checks on compounded medications to ensure potency, purity, and uniformity.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines for compounding practices.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals and prescribers to understand specific patient needs and customize medications accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with other pharmacy staff to coordinate compounding activities.
• Maintain accurate records of compounded medications, including ingredients, quantities, and formulations.
• Complete necessary documentation to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in compounding techniques.
• Provide training and guidance to pharmacy staff on compounding procedures and safety protocols.
