Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. SOP Development and Review
    • Develop, review, and update SOPs to align with regulatory, industry, and ISO standards.
    • Work with department heads to create and maintain effective SOPs for all business functions.
    • Ensure SOPs reflect current legal, regulatory, ISO, and operational requirements.
  2. ISO Compliance & Certification
    • Ensure company processes comply with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
    • Assist in obtaining and maintaining ISO certifications by coordinating audits and documentation.
    • Work with internal teams to implement and improve ISO-compliant processes.
    • Stay updated on ISO standard revisions and ensure continuous improvement of compliance frameworks.
  3. Compliance Monitoring & Enforcement
    • Conduct periodic audits and inspections to verify adherence to SOPs and ISO requirements.
    • Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
    • Implement and maintain an SOP compliance tracking system.
    • Train employees on SOPs, policies, compliance, and ISO requirements.
    • Develop training materials and conduct workshops or refresher sessions.
    • Ensure employees understand and adhere to documented procedures.
    • Identify potential compliance and ISO-related risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
    • Investigate compliance violations and document findings.
    • Work with management to implement corrective and preventive measures.
    • Stay updated on regulatory and ISO changes affecting SOP compliance.
    • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and ISO certification bodies.
    • Prepare and submit compliance reports as required.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of SOP and ISO-related compliance activities.
    • Ensure proper version control and distribution of updated SOPs.
    • Archive outdated SOPs and maintain an organized documentation system that aligns with ISO record-keeping requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, finance, law, or any compliance core-related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience related to this field. Experience working in the construction or property development industry would be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Compliance, Audit, and Risk Management.
  • Good communication skills, good documentation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Good analytical skills, fair personal management skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Good understanding of the implications and complexities of the local regulatory environment in order to carry out the responsibilities of the job as prescribed.
  • Driven, determined, organized, disciplined, and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work well with a variety of different people at all levels within the Company.
