Overview of the Position:

The Member Compliance Manager will be responsible to oversee the member (known as Independent Business Owners - IBO) activities and lead the Compliance team in upholding the integrity of our members (IBO) and their networks. This involves managing disciplinary and compliance matters to ensure adherence to company, members (IBO) and regulatory rules, policies, and standards. The role includes conducting investigations, managing compliance, reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role required to execute the below tasks and initiative:

Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement of IBO's Activities: Regularly review and analyze compliance reports across the network. Investigate reported compliance violations and take appropriate disciplinary actions and proactively identify compliance trends and develop strategies to reduce violations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure effective implementation and enforcement of compliance protocols. Collaborate with external vendors and stakeholders to minimize compliance risks and issues within the network.

Compliance Training and Education: Develop and conduct comprehensive compliance training programs for both internal teams and members. Provide clear guidance and support to members on compliance-related matters.

Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in the creation, revision, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Ensure that all policies and procedures align with current legal and regulatory requirements.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Continuously monitor member activities to identify potential compliance risks. Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Compliance Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on compliance audits, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all compliance-related activities. Provide necessary documentation and data to support internal and external audits.

Staying up-to-date: On relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Utilizing technology and data analytics to enhance compliance monitoring and reporting.

To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:

  • Possess an Advanced Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Management/ Bachelor's Degree in Law or any related field of study.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance Management, preferably in the MLM (Multi-Level Marketing), Direct Selling, Retail Industry or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and industry standards.
  • Problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage issues creatively and maturely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Work location: Bukit Jalil (Near to Pavilion Bukit Jalil)
  • Working days: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
