- Provide guidance to business units on general compliance matters and Group initiatives, including the adoption of Group policies, standards, and guidelines where required.
- Conduct reviews on business processes to identify gaps, escalate issues/risks promptly, and work with business units to implement timely remedial actions.
- Assist in the roll-out of compliance awareness and learning materials for employees and representatives.
- Independently identify areas of legal and compliance risks and their implications on the company and implement strategies to manage/mitigate such risks to safeguard the company's interests.
- Ensure all work and data are filed and stored according to the Policies & Procedures, both digitally and in hardcopy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and high integrity in all matters related to the Director and the company at all times.
- Plan and execute risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits based on the annual audit plan approved by the company.
- Review and handle miscellaneous agreements and correspondence.
- Compile audit findings, recommendations, and action plans to be reviewed and work closely with internal auditor. Provide guidance and support to other team members on audit engagements.
- Coordinate and assist in the risk assessment, review, and action planning processes for the Group with a focus on identifying key risk exposures and developing mitigating action plans.
- Coordinate and assist in the sustainability reporting and internal audit process.
- Prepare reports related to corporate social sustainability as required.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, legal or related with at least 5 years and above of working experience.
- Working experience in internal and external audit firms would be an advantage.
- Possess ISO internal auditor certification would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of risk management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and audit standard.
- Innovative, with excellent interpersonal, presentation and coordination skills.
- Meticulous and able to execute plans with speed and accuracy.
- Good analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
