- Responsible to lead and assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance to Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH), and applicable laws and regulations.
- Work in a team, collaboratively, with integrity, and independently to support all departments for continuous improvement activities and to resolve QMS and EOSH issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and mitigate risks.
- Responsible for completing internal and external documents including procedure writing/revision and customer surveys/assessments to maintain the effectiveness of QMS, EOSH, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Resolve and provide advice on the best industrial practices and participate in internal and external audits, assisting in addressing any findings such as non-conformance or observations.
- Render full support during auditing for 1st party (Internal Audit), 2nd party (Customer Audit), and 3rd party Audit (CB audit), supporting any QMS and EOSH related activities and initiatives.
- Responsible for controlling and coordinating the document or media for numbering, filing, distribution, archiving, and keeping retrievable either in hardcopy or softcopy documents.
- Ensure the integrity of documents is maintained at all times for auditing purposes and compliance with QMS, EOSH, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure any internal documents are standardized across all plants (Plant 1 & Plant 2) e.g., creation number, format, template, etc., and process the relevant documents in a timely manner for document control purposes.
- Coordinate and safeguard external documents (e.g., customer drawings) to ensure they are reviewed, updated, identified, distributed, and filed/stored appropriately for relevance.
- Render full support to guide document owners for document control processing from initial creation until control and publication into Engtek Portal.
- Ensure all documents with the latest revision are accessible in both hardcopy and softcopy and posted into Engtek Portal for reference, ensuring the document master list is kept updated and controlled appropriately, with changes recorded.
- Responsible for managing document records across all departments and carrying out record housekeeping to monitor the retention period for disposal purposes.
- Review and update own KPIs to QMR Monthly/Quarterly.
- Perform any other relevant duties/tasks/instructions assigned/directed by the superior, Department Heads, and Top Management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in compliance management, quality control, or regulatory roles.
- Proven experience in implementing and monitoring compliance programs within manufacturing operations.
- Experience with auditing and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and other quality standards, including performing internal audits and corrective actions.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen.
- Familiarity with document control and regulatory compliance, ensuring products and services meet quality standards.
- Experience in data analysis and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in the QMS.
- Ensures accuracy in quality management and compliance documentation, while analyzing and addressing quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and manage quality-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Strong communication skills are used to create reports and present findings to management, while also providing training and mentoring to staff on best practices. The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain quality across the product lifecycle.
