Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification of a Degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), Bonus for Proficiency in additional languages such as Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or others.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a broad scope of legal matters and challenges.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Presentable, professional, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including authorities, lawyers, and industry professionals.
• Flexible and willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal counsel on a wide range of legal disciplines across multiple jurisdictions (including APAC regions, as well as EU).
• Draft, review, and vet contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research, identify potential legal risks and advise on mitigation strategies to support the development and implementation of the company’s compliance framework.
• Represent the company to build and maintain relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, industry representatives, as well as liaising with external lawyers.
• Travel internationally as required to support the company’s global operations.
