Compliance and Transformation Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague to join our finance team in Malaysia.

• APAC role - to coordinate and identify areas of harmonization, simplification, and automation for Finance processes within Division B (in collaboration with ZF Group and other divisions)
• APAC role - to connect with Division B continuous improvement experts as a single point of contact in AP and lead continuous improvement activities for Finance
• Asean focus - to follow up on open audit issues, strengthen internal control and contract reviews, coordinate corporate and external audits, carry out preventive internal control activities, follow up on audit findings and ICS controls; take the lead to rollout the ICS improvements (incl. automation) in ASEAN countries.
• Asean focus - to monitor business operation, comprehend business models, and minimize potential risks from the agreement preparation phase, supervise the company’s daily business operation compliance with ZF group directives on legal and compliance requirements.
• Asean focus – to perform independent cross-functional checks and identify legal and compliance issues. Conduct necessary investigations on business partners. Assist in drafting agreements and legal documents, supervise the signatures and issuing. Improve compliance awareness among employees, conduct and coordinate regular legal and compliance trainings.
• Asean focus - to support Asean special projects upon request (e.g. Merlion, Jollibee, PTP, relocations, venture into Vietnam)

Your profile:

• Above 5 years in foreign investment or joint venture.
• Above 2 years audit background, strong understanding of accounting processes.
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or above (finance, accounting, legal preferred).
• Good business acumen.
• Good understanding of business process management and project management.
• Great communication skills and impeccable manner.
• Able to work well under pressure in an international environment.
• Conscientious work attitude.
• Professional in English, Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
• Excellent Office Software Skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
