Objectives of the Position

  • Understand business needs and provide best-suited support on Compensation and Benefits for specific assigned Country in the APAC region.
  • Support respective countries assigned in the region by engaging with the stakeholders, from HRBPs to country C&B teams in Compensation & Benefits matters including data analysis and providing operational support.
  • Support in identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices in the C&B space to ensure smooth implementation and engagement of best practices for respective countries.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

  • Responsible for preparation of data and analysis required to support any Compensation & Benefits initiatives such as performance management, salary budgeting and merit increment cycle, annual benefit renewal program, and market benchmarking exercise for countries in the APAC region.
  • Supports in collating economic indicators, external market practices and data analysis patterns and translates into meaningful indicators for development of any C&B initiatives and proposals to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Key person for job family matching and data submission for all Compensation & Benefits relevant market surveys (for example: Mercer Remuneration Survey) with the guidance of the Expert.
  • Responsible for renewal and implementation of Compensation & Benefits program such as insurance, Flexible Benefits, and Employee Assistance Program by managing, coordinating, and following up with vendors, which includes market competitiveness analysis and requirement setting.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Degree with HR focus as a bonus.
  • With 4 years of related HR working experience in strategic Compensation & Benefits and experience in operational C&B area as well.
  • Experience in relevant country statutory preferred.
  • Working knowledge around Rewards programs and systems.
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in language and culture of the supported country/location.
