About the role

As the Company Secretary Manager at HSS ENGINEERING SDN BHD, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This full-time position, based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining the company's registers and records, including statutory books and documents
• Coordinating and preparing agendas, minutes and supporting materials for board and committee meetings
• Ensuring the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations and corporate governance best practices
• Advising the board on legal, regulatory and governance matters
• Managing the company's filing and reporting obligations to regulatory authorities
• Overseeing the company's corporate secretarial function and providing guidance to other team members
• Participating in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Qualified company secretary with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Thorough understanding of Malaysian company law, corporate governance, and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and relevant company secretarial software
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
