Provide corporate secretarial and governance advisory services to the Board of Directors, Committees, and Senior Management, to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Strategize, direct, and lead subordinates on corporate secretarial and governance matters to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Provide advisory services to the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer about composition, training, remuneration, and insurance of Board members to maximize the Board’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Attend Board and Shareholders’ meetings to ensure proper conduct and record of meetings.
Development and Administration
Strategize, direct, and lead the Department in implementation of Group’s exercises to meet the Group’s vision, mission, and objectives.
Strategize, plan, and assess the Department’s performance development to improve the performance and knowledge of subordinates in line with Group’s continuous learning initiatives and development programmes.
Strategize, plan, and review the Department’s spending to maximize the utilization of the Department’s resources and assets and promote cost-saving initiatives.
Establish and review policies and Standard Operating Procedures to maximize the Department/Group’s efficiency through continuous improvement processes and systems.
