Commercial Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To manage the online and retail sales.
2. To maintain certain product margin.
3. To negotiate consignment stock.
4. Actively identify, acquire and develop new business opportunities with SMEs in the home improvement sector.
5. To recruit, onboard, manage, and expand long tail partners/networks.
6. Work with customers to provide feedback to creative teams for new marketing content and campaigns.
7. Strategize, plan, and execute marketing initiatives to achieve website targeted goals and increase market share.
8. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s merchant base and ensures its strong presence.
9. Lead presentations and pitches for the merchant campaign.
10. Organize marketing events for merchant-related campaign activities.
11. Oversee the creative and content team that works on the merchant campaign, ensuring that all creatives are aligned with the merchant strategy.
12. Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
13. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
14. Other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/O Level, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent.
2. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
3. At least 5 years of working experience as a Commercial Manager or Associate Manager in retail/construction, preferably 10 years.
4. Prior experience working at startups, willing to take challenges.
5. Experience in business development with SMEs and executing marketing initiatives to reach sales targets.
6. Aged under 40.
7. Strong leadership skills.
