Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to delinquent customers to negotiate for payment.
Receive inbound calls related to unblocking of devices or recovery matters and negotiate payment arrangements with customers.
Proceed with the unblocking request if applicable/necessary.
Update relevant systems on calls made and actions taken for each customer.
Communicate with customers via telephone, negotiate payment plans with owing customers, and enact payment plans to clear their debts.
Handle any other ad-hoc matters.
Job Requirements:
High School Certificate or Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in any related field is preferred.
1 to 3 years of strong background in sales, customer service, or call center service. Previous collection experience will be advantageous.
Fluency in English and Malay (written and spoken).
Candidates who can converse in Mandarin or local Chinese dialects will be advantageous.
Familiarity with the collection process and understanding of the documents involved.
Ability to recommend/negotiate payment terms.
Able to input information into systems and maintain Excel spreadsheets if required.
Able to understand customers’ needs and translate these needs to communicate/advise/negotiate with customers efficiently.
