Position Overview:

This individual is responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining voice and video systems, including IP PBX, Cloud voice services, voicemail, contact center, and video conferencing systems based on Cisco Unified Communications, Amazon Connect, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams in a rapidly changing global environment. Additionally, they will support the operations and continued growth of Insulet’s corporate and manufacturing operations comprised of VMware, Linux, and Microsoft server technologies. Test and evaluate voice, video, and server systems for optimum performance in support of ongoing and future business needs. Work with vendors to get the best services available. Support global expansion by implementing new office builds. Oversee voice, video, and server services globally to support rapid company expansion. Work closely with the network engineering, infrstructure systems, and collaboration systems teams on design, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to develop technical voice, video, and server solutions and their framework.
• Deploy voice infrastructures in new and existing offices worldwide.
• Proactive management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical analysis of the global voice and server infrastructure.
• Help with the development and implementation of voice, video, and collaboration technology roadmaps globally.
• Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose system problems.
• Design and test voice, video, and server systems in support of disaster recovery and BCP initiatives.
• Work with the collaboration team to implement changes to meet current and future business, and regulatory compliance needs across Insulet’s ever-expanding global footprint.
• Work closely with IT leadership and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
• Stay abreast of how information system infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors and the latest products and solutions.
• Consult with other business units to provide workable, creative solutions, and problem resolution.
• Manage worldwide telecom vendors to obtain the best voice services.
• Ability to understand and communicate with a wide variety of people, especially manufacturing engineering and IT colleagues.

Education and Experience:

• CCNA Collaboration or M365 Teams Administrator Associate Certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years related work experience in Microsoft Windows including Windows Server Versions since 2016 and Microsoft Teams or Webex Calling environments.
• Experience with Active Directory a plus.
• Experience with data backup, data retention, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Experience with VMWare installation and maintenance a plus.

Skills/Competencies:

• Must be able to set up computer hardware, phones, and workstations.
• Cisco Unity Connection / Cisco Call Manager version 10 or newer.
• Cisco CUBE experience a plus.
• Microsoft Teams management experience.
• Amazon Connect familiarity a plus.
• Working knowledge of SIP and VoIP.
• Working knowledge of QoS and its use in Cisco voice and video.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers in a production data center environment.
• Understanding of networking technologies and its impact on servers and automated manufacturing.
• Create, update, and maintain documentation, for example, system and network diagrams, runbooks, and inventory.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.
• Domestic and Global travel required – up to 20%.
