CNC Programmer (Mastercam 2019 Software)

Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of components, assemblies, and processes for the semiconductor and healthcare industries. We’ve built onto our core plastic manufacturing capabilities to develop a broad portfolio of offerings including complex assemblies, gold plating, and ultra-high purity orbital welding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide CNC Mill/Turn Programming/ Multi Axis program with minimum guide and supervision.
2. Review and validate that the blueprints are legitimate and contain all required information to successfully manufacture the part.
3. Process planning for manufacturing parts from start to finish, utilizing all production departments.
4. Quoting manufacturing times for Sales.
5. Create prints from CAD models for Sales and manufacturing use.
6. Review and approve job traveler sequence of operations.
7. Provide accurate information and clear instructions on setup sheets for machining.
8. Indicate changes/additional information on job procedures, run time, and submit to the Sales Personnel for adjustments and technical assistance (quoting, procedure, feasibility).
9. Prepare and submit purchase requests for special tools when needed.
10. Following in-house training, expected to logon and input required vital information into the network system (Epicor).
11. Update job sheet information (Procedure, blank size, machine allocation, etc.).
12. End of project review (finalize program and run time documentation).
13. Generate accurate part geometry and prints.
14. Support continuous improvement activities.
15. Provide reports and perform other duties as assigned by Program.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess a minimum diploma in mechanical or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Experience with CNC programming, machine tools, and setting; able to identify risk for each project.
4. Able to perform and create 3D CAD designs and prints when needed.
5. Fully understand the program software and CNC machines.
6. Ability to read and follow blueprints and general understanding of tolerance and GD&T.
7. Able to use Mastercam 2019 or other convenient software.
8. Must be able to manage any related tasks and complete them within the expected time.
