Cloud Operations Manager (Penang)

Global Delivery Network (GDN) is the organization within Siemens Industry Software responsible for the global delivery of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) services. With its centers in Poland, Malaysia, Mexico, and India, GDN is successfully delivering implementation and support projects of PLM and MOM systems for leading industry companies worldwide. We are looking for a Cloud Operations Manager who would contribute to the further development of our Cloud Application Services (CApS) practice within our Delivery Center in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the operational Governance within the regional CApS team, ensuring the service management governance.
2. Lead the Project throughout the Project lifecycle, performing project risk management including planning, identification, analysis, response planning and controlling.
3. Proactively monitor the project's overall progress, resolving issues and initiate corrective and preventive action as appropriate.
4. Review the contract and derive actions concerning risks, opportunities and contractual obligations.
5. Run customer support requirements and project scope to achieve project objectives.
6. Stakeholders’ management both internal and external to Siemens, handling and resolving all issues.
7. Drive customer communication for outages, escalations and point of contact for Siemens CApS leadership team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience within customer facing position related to Cloud Applications operations.
• Experience in running the operations of a Software business, ideally within industrial software (PLM/CAD/MES/MOM) we would consider similar sectors such as ERP.
• Experience of working within an ITIL environment, an ITIL Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in handling Application Support related projects.
• Handling SaaS based customer support projects will be an added advantage.
