Cloud Operations Manager (GPU Cloud Architecture)

Position Summary

The Cloud Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of our client's GPU cloud infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to ensure the successful operation of our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and management of GPU cloud infrastructure
• Develop and enforce cloud governance policies, security protocols, and best practices
• Oversee cloud operations, including capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost management
• Manage a team of cloud engineers and administrators, providing mentorship and guidance
• Collaborate with other departments to align cloud strategies with business objectives
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud services
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in GPU cloud computing
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud operations efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to cloud services
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud operations management, preferably with GPU cloud architectures
• Strong understanding of GPU cloud architecture, services, and best practices
• Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, ITIL)
• Extensive knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance requirements
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning workloads on GPU cloud platforms
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
