Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS RDS instances (MySQL)
• Ensure database performance optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Automate database operations using Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Monitor systems using tools like AWS CloudWatch to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Secure databases with best practices for encryption, access control, and patching.
• Migrate on-premises databases to AWS RDS and integrate with other AWS services.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS RDS databases.
• Strong expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• AWS Certification is a plus.
