Client Operations Officer, Payment Services (12 months contract)

These services include Custody & Cash Clearing, Fund Administration, Fund Distribution, Master Data Services, Market Solutions, Group Invoicing, Reconciliations and Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions. As a centre of excellence, CACEIS Malaysia plays a pivotal role in driving the scalability of global operations, enhancing service quality, and implementing standardized processes to meet the diverse needs of its clients.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Payment services activities. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal stakeholders with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mind-set. You will be responsible to define an appropriate control and governance to support the operations and to meet the regulatory requirements, closely working with Risk, Compliance and Change programs to support group’s initiative as well as assist with Internal and External Audit and Regulatory requirements.
You will be supporting Luxembourg team.
What will you do?
- Accountable for accuracy and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Active support in the implementation of new monitoring policies when required.
- Works closely with team’s management to achieve department and organization goals.
- To fully support the BAU demands for the Clients and the Business in Malaysia Ops.
- Evaluates productivity performance and regularly reviews and produces daily/monthly MI reporting.
- Ensures the process is controlled and risk is mitigated, and automated as much as possible.
- Identifying and encourage process improvement ideas.
- Manage the efficiency and productivity to ensure all metrics are submitted/maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
- Achieve all SLA’s that have been agreed.
- Reviewing of process procedures periodically.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Analytical thinking and risk mind-set.
- Display leadership attributes and able to work in a team.
- Knowledge in MS Office – Excel and Word.
- Proficient in English (written and oral).
- Relevant experience in Banking or Financial Operations/Financial Services.
- Detailed knowledge of all cash products, markets and Payment schemes/systems.
