Client Operations Officer, OTC Middle Office
Reporting to the Manager, the individual will be managing the day-to-day OTC activities, including the management/verification of trades process, CFD trade and EMIR Trioptima reconciliation. The position requires good experience and background in operations including familiarity with OTC products. This person has to be proactive, adding value by working on a number of simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision while paying special attention to details. Our mission is to perform day-to-day operations in offering transparency and a high level of control to our clients regarding OTC products.
The incumbent is responsible for operating activities within deadlines stated in collaboration with Client Operations Europe Middle Office Services: Activities performed in the context of Custodian and Fund Administration principles, Prospectus, ISDA Master Agreements, internal policies and procedures, ensuring optimal client service.
What will you do?
- Project management and execution for all change & transition related activity for new, add on, data migrations, restructures/in-species and lost business across custody (market openings), fund accounting, middle office and registry services.
- Ensure adherence to the agreed target operating model and communicate/escalate changes of service/scope identified in the implementation.
- Manage and own the complete client portfolio of change, including:
- Understand, through constructive discussions, the clients' change requirements and document the high-level scope.
- Engage, where appropriate, the resources and methodologies of the Client Solutions teams.
- Accountable for the end-to-end implementation plan via the coordination of both internal and external parties (onshore and offshore).
- Deliver standards to our clients and stakeholders for all activity with an aim to reduce transition costs and client-specific change activity (by leveraging standard models, ensuring client sign-off of activity, management and execution against the model and validation of service standards).
- Implement all change and/or transition related activity in a structured way, measurable by outputs including scope document, operating model, high-level impact and issue/risk assessment, items log, implementation checklist and timeline, and post-implementation review as per agreed timelines.
- Manage client change/new business logs and associated tracking, reviewing them with clients and internal parties on a regular basis.
- Manage the status of client-initiated projects with Client Solutions, Operations, I.T. etc. resulting from change requests.
- Coordinate and execute change requests ensuring that they are in line with the differentiated service model defined for Coverage and mid-market clients.
- Monitor and promptly escalate change requests or transition items which would lead to increased operational risk or reduced efficiency.
