Client Coverage / Business Development Executive – Corporate Trust Division
Join our dynamic Corporate Trust Division and drive business growth by engaging with institutional clients, financial institutions, and corporate issuers. As a Client Coverage / Business Development Executive, you will assist in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and positioning our trust and agency services effectively in the market.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Assist to develop new business opportunities within the corporate and institutional trust segment.
- Promote trust and fiduciary services such as:
- Corporate Bonds / Sukuk Trustee
- Facility & Security Agent Services
- REITs Trustee
- Custodian & Escrow Services
- Collective Investment Schemes (Private Mandates, Wholesale Funds, Fixed Income Funds, Unit Trusts, etc.)
- Employee Share Option Schemes (ESOS) / Share Grant Plans Trustee
- Execute a sales strategy to achieve business growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investment banks, corporate finance firms, legal advisors, fund managers, issuers, etc.
Client Relationship Management
- Supporting as the contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Engage with existing clients to explore opportunities for service expansion and cross-selling.
- Assist client presentations, networking events, and industry engagements to enhance market presence.
Market & Industry Insights
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance trust service offerings and market positioning.
- Work with internal teams to develop marketing materials, proposals, and pitch decks.
Operational & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding, documentation, and regulatory adherence.
- Support the structuring and implementation of corporate trust services in compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
- Assist in managing due diligence (KYC/AML) processes for new and existing clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or sales within the corporate trust, capital markets, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate trust structures, debt capital markets, and fund management services.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and professional intermediaries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential client information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools.
