Job Description

1. Responsible to assist and conduct simple field-testing job that doesn’t need competency certificate.
2. Conduct and assist Engineer and Engineering Inspector on field testing job.
3. Understand all related scope pertaining to field testing job.
4. Follow correct procedure and method for testing based on intended scope.
5. React promptly when facing problems on site.
6. Prepare and arrange testing equipment before job execution.
7. Conduct detailed testing and inspection of steel & concrete structures (field and laboratory) to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
8. Assist Safety and Health Committee members in organizing and implementing safety and health programs at the workplace, safety promotion campaigns, and others.
9. Carry out any other instruction made by employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to the nature of the scope of work.
10. Adhere to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standards and processes when carrying out your responsibilities in executing, fulfilling, and ensuring at all times the compliance of the QMS in accordance with ISO 17020 & MIBAS policy, 17065 & ACB policy, and ISO17025 & SAMM policy (where applicable/required).
11. Adhere to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by upholding good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes when carrying out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance with the HSE requirements.
12. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior and/or department manager.

Qualifications

1. Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification.
2. No experience needed as training will be given.
