Civil / ME QS (土木造价工程师)

About the role

Sinoshine Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Civil / ME QS to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the company's construction projects and driving operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and manage quantity surveys, cost estimates, and budgets for construction projects
• Analyse technical drawings and specifications to quantify materials and labour requirements
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts to ensure cost-effective project delivery
• Monitor and report on project costs, identifying potential savings and mitigating risks
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimise construction processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, building, MRT, with a strong track record in quantity surveying
• Proficient in using CUBI cost software, quantity surveying software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices
