Position : Civil Inspector

Industry : Oil & Gas

Employment : Contract (1 year with possibility of renewal)

Location : Segamat, Johor

Scope of Works:

• Read and familiarize project specifications, procedures, AFC & Shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards, such as AWS and ASTM.
• Develop QC Inspection package for the area/ scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval.
• Perform/ witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (materials receiving, fabrication & installation) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Participate in relevant project meetings as and when requested by the supervisor/ superior.

Requirement(s):

• Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant disciplines. Minimum 5 years of working experience in oil and gas.
• Inspection and Testing techniques
• Steel structure design requirements
• COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS) added advantage
• Codes and Specifications: AWS D1.1, ASTM, BS
• Read and interprets construction drawings
