Responsibilities

• Designing and drafting civil engineering plans and specifications for various projects.
• Conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Preparing technical reports, drawings, cost estimates, and project documentation in compliance with local standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and urban planners to develop integrated designs that align with client requirements and local government guidelines.
• Conducting quality control inspections to monitor the progress of construction and resolve any design issues or technical challenges.
• Providing recommendations for the rehabilitation or improvement of existing infrastructure.
• Staying updated with local regulatory changes, building codes, and industry standards.
• Preparing and submitting progress reports, project updates, and budgets to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

Skills And Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology and 3+ years of work experience in Engineering or regulated industry OR advanced degree with 1+ years of work experience in Quality or regulated industry.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and working towards obtaining the Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
• Knowledge of local regulations, including the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL), Malaysian Standard (MS), and other relevant guidelines.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Stad Pro.
• Familiarity with project management software and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
