Civil Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and renovation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In This Role You Will

1. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for renovation projects.
2. Create and review engineering designs and specifications for renovation work, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
3. Oversee and manage construction sites, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
4. Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used in renovation projects.
5. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the renovation process, providing effective solutions.
6. Ensure all renovation work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
7. Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and any issues encountered, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
8. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns related to the renovation projects.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in civil engineering with a focus on renovation projects. Familiarity with construction practices and project management.
3. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
4. Valid CIDB card is required.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency in engineering software and tools.
6. In-depth understanding of construction materials, methods, and regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
