Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at China Railway Engineering Corporation(M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our construction projects, utilising your expertise to deliver high-quality infrastructure that drives progress within the local community. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Involved in Tender Briefing, Tender Evaluation (technical)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate project planning, implementation and monitoring
• Oversee and supervise site operations, including construction activities, resource management and quality control
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, method statements and other project documentation
• Identify and resolve project-related issues, implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks and maintain progress
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a civil engineering role
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, P6 and project management tools
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
