About the role

We are seeking a part-time Chinese translator to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Chinese translator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language translation services to support our business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong Chinese language skills and a keen eye for detail.

What you'll be doing

• Translating a variety of documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, from Malay to Chinese and vice versa
• Ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of translations
• Collaborating with team members to understand the context and requirements of each translation project
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve translation processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Fluency in both Malay and Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in professional translation, preferably in a business or commercial setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality translations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in using translation software and other relevant tools
• A collaborative and adaptable approach to work
