Chief Operating Officer (COO) – IT Software Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Strategy: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product development aligns with client needs and market demands. Provide leadership in the design, development, and delivery of our solutions.
2. Client-Facing Leadership: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, translate feedback into actionable insights, and ensure that products meet customer expectations.
3. Business Development: Work closely with the CEO and the leadership team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Lead efforts in market penetration and scaling the company’s solutions.
4. Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the alignment of business processes with strategic objectives. Improve operational efficiency to support business growth.
5. Market Expansion: Drive strategies for expanding the company’s footprint in existing and new markets, ensuring products are competitive and responsive to market changes.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership: Foster collaboration across teams (engineering, sales, marketing, customer support) to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation, staying ahead of industry trends, and continuously improving the company’s products, services, and processes.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
2. 10-15 years of experience in IT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning/ SaaS product development, business development, or related roles in the tech industry.
3. Mandarin speakers are preferred.
4. Proven track record in client-facing roles with the ability to translate client needs into successful products.
5. Strong experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing.
6. Demonstrated success in business development and market penetration, particularly with SaaS products.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
8. Experience in scaling tech companies and driving growth in competitive markets.
