CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER/ CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

An established company, financially stable and a pioneer of phosphate manufacturing in Malaysia is seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the position of Chief Operating Officer (with potential to be promoted to the Chief Executive Officer) to be based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

He or she should possess a keen business acumen to manage and expand the Company’s feed and fertilizer phosphate plant in Perak, Malaysia.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in developing and executing strategies aligned with the Company’s objectives.
• Oversees all operations (i.e. production, quality control, supply chain management, financials) for optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Develops sales and revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies, expanding market share and maintaining customer relationships.
• Ensuring full compliance of regulations.
• Developing, motivating and cultivating a high-performance team, fostering collaboration, and promoting employee development and engagement.
• Keeps abreast with industry trends and identifies opportunities for growth.

Qualifications and Experience requirement

• Knowledge on fertiliser phosphates, feed phosphates, building materials, chemical manufacturing processes, including raw material sourcing production and process will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years working experience with outstanding performance in top management level, manufacturing, and business development.
• Achievement with proven track record, leadership quality and ability to identify, develop and execute business opportunities for the company.
• Ability to seek new business opportunities and increase profitability of the company.
• Competent in effective administration, financial management, human resources, legal matters and accountable for the bottom line of the company.

This is a full-time employment contract and the candidate should be currently earning no less than RM 250,000 per annum.
