Job Title: Chief of Technical Officer (CTO)

Reports to: Group CEO

Direct Reports: As required

Location: Headquartered in Central, Hong Kong Island, with subsidiaries in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taichung, Manila, and other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's technology vision and strategy, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead and manage the technology team, including developers, engineers, and IT professionals, fostering innovation and professional growth through mentorship and guidance.
• Oversee the development and implementation of new products or technical services, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
• Maintain the company's technology infrastructure as scalable, secure, and reliable, overseeing system architecture and design to support business goals and operations.
• Promote innovation within the technology teams, evaluating and adopting new technologies to enhance business operations or product offerings.
• Collaborate with executives, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure technology solutions meet customer needs and align with broader business objectives.
• Manage the technology department's budget, allocating resources effectively for optimal productivity and return on investment.
• Ensure all technology solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols, implementing data security practices to protect both the company's and customers' sensitive data.
• Participate in formulating medium- and long-term strategic goals and organize their implementation.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree in technology management, business administration, or engineering is optional but preferred.
• Extensive technical experience (usually 10+ years) in software engineering, IT infrastructure, product development, or a related area, with proven leadership experience managing technical teams or large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with Software Development, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Agile/Scrum Methodologies, DevOps, AI/ML.
• Ability to adapt to frequent cross-regional business trips, including Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taichung, Manila, and other locations.
• Fluent in Chinese and English, with strong language organization skills.
• Experience in corporate culture development and transformation, and familiarity with optimizing a federal organizational structure.
