Job Responsibilities
• The position will report to the MD and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the Group's financials, treasury, risk & internal controls, and regulatory compliance & reporting.
• Responsible for determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation within the Group.
• Driving strategic business plan including the planning and delivering of medium to long term profit forecasts, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Provide strategic recommendations with financial and business insight for top management team to achieve Group financial and strategic goals.
• Ensure full transparency and administrative compliance with Listing Requirements, Accounting Standard, and other statutory directives.
• Ensure timely statutory reporting, announcement, comply with legislative and Bursa listing requirements.
• Lead corporate finance's job includes funding matters, special issues, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investor relations events and communication covering quarterly briefings and investor-facing meetings.
• To oversee the full spectrum of finance department including financial and management reporting of the Group including controlling functions in treasury, accounting, cash-flow management, tax and audit activities to achieve overall corporate mission and vision.
- To ensure that all financial and accounting reports are in accordance with the Malaysian General Accepted Accounting principles including relevant Tax authorities and Central Bank regulations.
- Responsible to review the group structure for proper tax planning and savings.
- Prepared feasibility studies for business developments projects such as acquisition of businesses and target markets.
- To formulate short and long-term financial goals to include financial planning, forecasting, financial modeling, assess the Group financial viability of potential projects, merger, and acquisition due diligence/acquisition valuation analysis.
- Prepared Group's financial forecast and cash flow projections. Designed equity/debt funding strategies to raise funds for the development projects and arranging banking facilities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, lawyers, bankers, property valuers and other consultants. Coordinated effectively and efficiently with these external resources to achieve desired outcome of projects.
- Providing financial expertise, proposals and recommendations and any other ad hoc financial related matters to the board of directors for decision making.
- To develop and establish a new succession team through a disciplined people-oriented system to continue the growth of the organization under the finance division.
• Coordinate board of Directors meeting and board paper preparation.
• Responsible for internal controls and driving compliance to company policies, and compliance with Bursa Listing Requirements.
• Transform structured accounting processes & reports, effective development of financial resources.
• Control and provide input into decisions relating to investment proposals and projects that involve fundraising.
• Direct the analysis of new proposals providing commercial and financial input, particularly in relation to new products and initiatives.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin to liaise with associates.
• At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Preferably member of MIA.• Candidates with professional certifications such as
ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or other relevant certifications is an added advantage.
