Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Company Overview:
The company is a leading provider of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions in Malaysia, dedicated to delivering innovative and reliable services across various sectors. They are currently seeking an experienced and strategic CFO to join the leadership team and drive the financial strategy as they continue to expand the business.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Raiden M&E’s business goals.
  2. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  1. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  2. Maintain compliance with Malaysian financial regulations and international accounting standards.

Risk Management:

  1. Identify financial risks and design strategies to mitigate them.
  2. Oversee internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial information.

Operational Leadership:

  1. Manage daily financial operations, including accounting, tax, and treasury functions.
  2. Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital allocation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Serve as the key financial spokesperson, presenting financial reports to the board, shareholders, and external stakeholders.
  2. Work closely with the executive team to drive business performance and growth.

Team Leadership and Development:

  1. Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  2. Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) is highly desirable.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in senior financial management, with a proven track record in strategic financial leadership.
  3. Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and industry practices.
  4. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other senior executives.
