MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify new financial opportunities (e.g., bank accounts, government support).
• Restructure and optimize financial frameworks for company growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to executives.
Financial Operations
• Manage cash flow, investments, and financial reporting.
• Strengthen banking relationships for better deals.
• Develop SOPs for trade spending and collaborate with sales to minimize costs.
• Ensure financial accuracy in accounting, sales, and inventory systems.
• Oversee timely payments, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
• Implement policies for aging inventory, sales returns, and credit notes.
• Manage audits and ensure proper company secretarial documentation.
Capital Management
• Drive capital raising initiatives, including securing venture funding, managing investor relations, and exploring alternative financing options.
• Optimize capital structure to ensure financial health and sustainability.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Lead the development of KPIs to track financial and operational performance.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, including the Board, investors, and regulators.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform financial strategies.
Risk Management
• Assess and mitigate financial risks while ensuring internal controls.
• Oversee legal documentation, licenses, and trademark applications.
• Evaluate investments and acquisitions for sustainable growth.
• Optimize capital structure for financial stability.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Align financial goals with business strategy.
• Mentor and develop the finance team.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and marketing for efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication
• Present financial insights to the board, investors, and external partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulators.
Strategic Decision-Making
• Provide financial guidance for product launches and market expansion.
• Assess and manage investment opportunities.
Others
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably in the technology or AI sector.
• Proven track record of raising capital, managing investor relations, and driving financial growth.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, and compliance.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex financial challenges.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• It is essential to have previous experience in property development/ construction company.
