• Provide excellent leadership and management of Corporate Finance, measured by the effectiveness, engagement and business unit respect of the team.
• Ownership and development of a group finance function, including group reporting, management reporting, tax and treasury
• Internal reporting, including consolidated monthly management accounts, and ad hoc reporting to business with the ability to refresh and develop reporting to ensure it remains insightful and fit for purpose;
• Management of external audit and development and documentation of strong internal controls framework to support rapid future growth
• Manage relationships with others across the Group to achieve alignment in key business strategies and decisions.
• Manage the Group’s cash flows within available facilities, providing appropriate reporting to Directors and Executive Management.
• Manage the Group’s financial reporting obligations, with responsibility for preparation and lodgment of compliant full year consolidated accounts.
• Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices.
• Oversee finance systems managing transaction flows from source through interfaces to general ledger.
• Ensure finance ledgers are maintained on a timely basis, are accurate and complete, and structured for the dual purpose of providing relevant information to internal users and meeting statutory obligations.
• Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for financial related information are appropriately delivered.
• Preparation of annual budgets for holding company entities.
• Perform the accounting function for holding company entities.
• Undertake a range of other activities within the Corporate Finance function, in conjunction with other Finance staff, such as maintenance of consolidated key finance activities (e.g. asset financing); governance/internal control activities; business administration or insurance management.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline / MBA or professional certification
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role in publicly listed companies.
• Proven expertise in managing financial operations for a group of companies
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
