Job Description

1. Assist the Management to interpret Division stakeholder’s expectation and formulate the Division’s strategic plans and goals to achieve short term and long-term business results.
2. Ensure achievement of the Division’s strategic financial plans and the annual business goals and objectives.
3. Ensure the effective and efficient management of the financial services, treasury and credit functions of the Division.
4. Ensure effective compliance with all relevant legislation, listing regulations, industry rules and the proper interpretation of Division’s Board directives.
5. Ensure that the Division’s assets are mobilised and utilised in order to optimise the Division’s value creation and return on shareholders’ funds.
6. Ensure the effective management of the finance function to achieve the Division’s corporate plans and strategies.
7. Ensure that the Division adopts effective and efficient financial and investment strategies, prudent investment methods and framework.
8. Ensure inspirational leadership and motivation of the top operating managers and the Finance professional of the Division.
9. Ensure effective capability planning, staffing and succession management to critical positions in the Division.
10. Ensure effective investor relations and external relations with major banks, government agencies, authorities and other stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Recognised Degree in Accounting, professional qualification in MIA or other relevant qualifications.
2. At least 10 years of experience in finance/accounting and management role.
3. Strong financial analysis, communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
4. Matured and able to work independently, provide useful and objective advice and input.
5. Seasoned and qualified professional who has held the position of a CFO in medium to large diversified corporations.
