Job description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of Dr Clear Aligners. The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring sound financial management, and contributing to the achievement of our company's short-term and long-term goals.

Job Description:-

  • Collaborate with the Managing Directors and Executive team to develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with its overall business objectives.
  • Play an integral role in overseeing the overall IPO listing process.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on financial decisions, capital allocation, and risk management.
  • Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and tax management.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with operational plans.
  • Provide variance analysis and proactive recommendations to address deviations from budgeted performance.
  • Evaluate and manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize cost of capital and support growth initiatives.
  • Assess investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, providing financial due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage financial and operational risks effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements related to financial matters.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
  • Set performance objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
  • Communicate financial results, strategies, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting for increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise the oversight of cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management, upholding the company's financial stability.

Qualifications:-

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance.
  • Experience in overseeing and leading the IPO listing process.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to contribute to business growth and expansion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial systems.
  • Experience in managing and leading diverse finance teams.
  • Position is located in Alam Damai, Cheras and only open to Malaysians.
