Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

Our client, a dynamic organization in the Property Development business, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership. The ideal candidate must have a certified accounting background (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent qualification) with extensive experience in financial management, corporate governance, and compliance, particularly in the property and construction sectors. This individual will drive financial strategies, optimize operations, and ensure regulatory compliance to support the company’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive costing policies and financial frameworks.
3. Provide strategic advice to management on financial implications of key business activities and decisions.
4. Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes with regular variance analysis.
5. Ensure cash flow optimization and sustainability, while mitigating financial risks.
6. Lead due diligence reviews, financing negotiations, and contract management.
7. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to maintain compliance with local laws and company policies.
8. Assess financial risk and mitigations on new projects (structured financial solutions).
9. Provide direction in areas including due diligence review, financing, and contract negotiations.
10. Conduct special projects for senior management or the Board of Directors as required.
